...Doesn't mean you have to leave fun behind :-)
I am of the mindset that just because you get older and take on more responsibilities, that this doesn't mean you are to become a stiff, sour faced prude lol. It also doesn't mean you have to a level headed, responsible, non-risk taking individual all the time either. Yes, no when to be all those things! But...I don't believe you have to be that way ALL THE TIME. lol :-)
Everyone who knows us, knows that my sisters and I are big goobs. My sister Bethanie and I being the biggest. We still run around chasing each other for whatever reason (though not as often as when we were younger, or for nearly as long :-P), we still jab each other in the ribs with our elbows in church (not as much as we did when we were 9 of course, but it has been known to happen a few times since then lol), we still have prank wars and we still randomly race through my parents house to see who burrows in the middle between Mom and Dad first (bc lets face it, there aint no way we Both can fit in the middle any more! lol)
Does this make us childish or irresposible? No, it most certianly does not.
Are we adults? Yes, we most certianly are.
Living life and enjoying life don't always have to be 2 seperate things, you don't have to let yourself be restricted to how society/others believe that certain ages should act. Everyone is different yes, some people aren't the type to be loud and crazy and that's totally fine! But does that mean that they are more of adult than those of us who are loud and crazy? Nope. Not one bit.
So whoever you are, and however you are.
Enjoy life! Let Christ's joy show through you in your own unique way. Bc that's how he made you to be :-) And that's how he made ME to be, and I'm pretty sure, it's never gunna change :-D :-) :-P
I found this quote randomly while I was online a weekish ago and thought it was pretty funny:
"Enjoy life. Think of all the women who passed up desert on the Titanic".
GO LIVE LIFE as Y-O-U! The you GOD made you as :-P And worry about nothing else.
Here's an example of this loud and craziness:
It's a BEAUTIFUL spring day. 2 girls are taking a walk/jog in Shelby Farms.
What, pray tell, do they encounter??
A beaver.
(It's the tiny thing at the waters edge about 3/4 the way up the pic...cell phone camera quality! :-P)
In other news lol
Klara and Reese are getting SO big!
The outfits, the smiles, and every new day bringing something new...
It's fAnTastIc!
Here lately, we've had a few BIGGIO things happen:
MY BESTEST FRIEND DENISE GOT ENGAGED!! lol We've known each other since Kindergarden, been BF's for 11, 12, something like that, years now lol. She's gettin' hitched and soon after, she's gunna have a wittle bebe! lol :-P CONGRATS NISE! Love ya girl :-)

While one girl stood on the path, and...looked around :-P
The other snuck down a path to take a closer pic :-D
Loud and crazy...Crazy loud fun!
Klara and Reese are getting SO big!
Reese LOVES to sit up and she never EVER squints, or has her eyes closed any smaller...than WIDE! lol
She's a strong little girl too! If you hold her up under her arms, most the time she stands on the FLATS of here feet with her OWN strength, and she'll walk forward! lol It's sooo crazy!
Klara...sweet mushy tubby Klara. I call her my Little Honey Baked Ham :-P
Klara LOVES to be talked to. She's VERY expressionable! lol She's squishy and she likes to eat. She does NOT like to stand up lol, however she does like to sit straight up and see evrything. She loves when Uncle Tyler holds her like a little monkey LOL And she has discovered her feet! haha She had a great time the other day putting her feet all over Uncle Tyler's face :-P (at one point he commented, "Yep, she's Bonnie's child alright, he feet stink!" LOL Bonnie has the smelliest feet EvEr :-P).Putting them together is hilarious! Laid them in the play pen and with their hands flying all over the place, Klara mistook Reese's fingers for her own! LOL

Here lately, we've had a few BIGGIO things happen:
Our Mummy turned 50! We threw her a surprise "Bon Voyage Youth!" party :-P Made her wear a grass skirt and everything. Meg (from our church), made the cake for us, turned out sooooo adorable! And was REALLY yummy!
My little bro Wesley, turned 16 (wOOt!), we thre him a lil family surprise GI Joe bday party :-P
AND got his Staff Sergeant rank in CAP! WAY TO GO WES!!
Oh yes, for Easter this year, I made my first decorative cupcakes!! lol They're called "Rabbit Holes" :-P
Got the idea from a book called, "Hello Cupcake!" CUTE ideas!
Our first Easter was busy! But a good one :-)
I love him :-) :-) :-)
Along the way...
We went to a baby expo! lol The guys had a blast! haha
The babies had fun, we had fun, and I came across this crazy sign!! MY name is Ashl-IE Grace and I was Born JUNE 6TH LOL
Tyler and Cody dressed up as Twinkies :-P (not intentionally)
Bought some Crocs online, this is what the side of the box that they came in said, thought it was clever :-)
Went "swimming" in our Apt pool for the first time! My toe nail polish changes colors in the sun :-D Got it on our honeymoon in St. Kitts. It's from a place called Del Sol.
Snapped this pic of my Grandparents at church :-) I took two actually, in the other one, they were both asleep. I love them.
Since then...
Spring has sprung and summer is peeking around the corner!! God has really been blessing and opening doors. I am SO excited about the summer! And Tyler has made some definiative decisions concerning school, so we have a "set" track that will start rolling this fall...and it's all just so exciting! Life is awesome when God is in charge and it's been really fantastic to watch where he has been leading us.
My photography has picked WAY up. I think I've done 3 jobs in the past couple weeks. 2 more prospective ones right now, and one definite coming up!

ReplyDeleteHope you're doing well girl, how's the move coming?
Miss ya!
I'm doing all right. I'm exhausted and tired, and just plain ready to settle in and stay somewhere. It's hard to work, do homework, go to school, and take care of errands when you're packing up to move! :o I'll be happy to see those pictures. :) I'm going to try to find time to call and stop in and say hello to everyone in the few days I'm in Memphis. I'm leaving to head to Nashville next Monday. :o Excited! Give my love to all your sisters, to you, your hubby, and Denise and her hubby as well. And I guess if you have to, to Adam. ;) Mwuahaha.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Christina
